Dong Thap Leaders Pay Tribute at the Provincial Martyrs’ Cemetery in My Tra Ward

(DTO) On the morning of April 29, a delegation of leaders from the Provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Thap held a wreath-laying ceremony and offered incense at the Provincial Martyrs’ Cemetery (My Tra Ward).

The ceremony honored former leaders of the Party and the nation, fallen heroes, compatriots, and comrades who bravely sacrificed their lives on the occasion of the 51st anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2026).

Delegates observed a minute of silence to honor the immense contributions of generations past and the heroic martyrs who sacrificed for national independence and freedom, and for the happiness of the people. 

The delegation included Ngo Chi Cuong, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council; Phan Van Thang, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province; members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee; members of the Executive Committee of the Provincial Party Committee; the provincial National Assembly delegation; representatives of departments, agencies, and sectors; and leaders of the wards of Cao Lanh, My Tra, and My Ngai.

Nguyen Thi Kim Tuyen, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Commission for Propaganda and Mass Mobilization, offers incense at the martyrs’ graves. 
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Phuoc Thien offers incense at the martyrs’ graves.
